1. Agreement
These terms apply when you create an account, access Wajang or use a production workspace. By using the service you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Wajang for an organisation or production, you confirm that you have authority to accept the terms for that organisation where applicable.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and use an email address you are entitled to control. Accounts are personal unless Wajang expressly provides a shared or organisational account arrangement. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until unauthorised access is reported.
You must not share passwords, bypass permissions, impersonate another person, probe other productions or attempt to gain access to data that has not been made available to you.
3. Production owners, members and permissions
The production owner or authorised organisation controls production membership, roles, permissions and many operational decisions. Inviting a person may give that person access to confidential production information. Owners must grant only appropriate access and remove it when no longer required.
Wajang provides tools for collaboration, approvals, signatures, notices and audit history, but the production remains responsible for confirming that its documents, approvals, working rules, contracts and legal processes are valid for its circumstances.
4. Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of scripts, media, files and other material you are entitled to upload. You grant Wajang the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, back up, display and otherwise operate that material for you and the users you authorise.
You must not upload content that infringes rights, breaches confidentiality, is unlawful, contains malicious code or exposes personal information without an appropriate basis. Wajang does not acquire ownership of your screenplay or production merely because it is stored in the service.
5. Plans, subscriptions and payment
Features, limits, seats and prices are those shown at purchase or in the account’s applicable plan configuration. Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing arrangement unless cancelled. Taxes may apply. Failure or reversal of payment may result in loss of paid access after reasonable notice.
Some functionality depends on third-party services or usage-based processing. Wajang may introduce reasonable operational controls to protect the service from abuse or exceptional resource consumption.
6. Acceptable use and reporting
You must not use Wajang to distribute malware, send unlawful spam, harass people, facilitate fraud, store illegal content, defeat security controls, overload the service, scrape protected information, reverse engineer restricted components or use another production’s confidential material without authority.
Automated access is permitted only through interfaces, exports, integrations or APIs that Wajang makes available for that purpose. Users and guests can use the in-product Report content tool to flag user-created material, account conduct or AI output for administrator review. Wajang may restrict access to content or accounts where reasonably necessary to investigate a report, protect users, comply with law or enforce these terms.
7. AI-assisted features
AI-assisted extraction, suggestions and analysis can contain errors and must be reviewed by a suitably informed person. They are not legal, financial, accounting, safety, medical or employment advice and must not be treated as an automatic approval or decision. You are responsible for checking outputs and for ensuring that submitted information may lawfully be processed. If a generated response appears unsafe, misleading or otherwise inappropriate, use the in-product reporting tool so it can be reviewed.
8. Third-party services and integrations
Wajang may connect to payment, email, notification, storage, video, AI or other third-party services. Separate terms may apply to those services. Wajang is not responsible for a third party’s independent service, content, outage or change, although Wajang will take reasonable steps to maintain supported integrations.
9. Availability, changes, exports and backups
Wajang aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents, supplier outages and internet conditions can affect access. Features may be changed to improve security, reliability, legal compliance or usability.
You should maintain appropriate exports or independent copies of material that is essential to production, delivery, finance, employment or legal compliance. Offline functionality applies only to the workflows expressly made available offline.
10. Suspension, cancellation and closure
You may cancel a subscription or close an account through the available process. Wajang may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, unlawful use, serious breach, risk to other users or legal compliance. Where practicable, Wajang will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
11. Warranties and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wajang is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss arising from production decisions made without independent verification, or loss caused by content, instructions, permissions or integrations controlled by the user.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Consumer rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
12. Responsibility for claims
An organisation using Wajang is responsible for claims arising from content it was not entitled to upload, unlawful instructions it gave, or permissions and communications it configured in breach of law or contract.
13. Changes to these terms
Wajang may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email with reasonable notice where practicable. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means the updated terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The Scottish courts will have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
15. Contact
Use the public contact page. Logged-in users can use Contact & Report an Issue so the enquiry is linked to their account and Support Centre history.
