INT. EDINBURGH TENEMENT — NIGHT Rain hammers the single-pane window. A writing desk covered in revision drafts. A half-empty mug of tea, gone cold. MARA (late 20s, ink-stained fingers) stares at a blank page. MARA (to herself) Every shadow tells a story. I just need to find mine.
She picks up her pen. The cursor blinks.

About Wajang

Where Stories Come to Life

Wajang takes its name from Wayang Kulit, the ancient Javanese shadow puppet theatre, where a master storyteller casts intricate silhouettes onto a linen screen, giving voice to gods, heroes and ordinary people. The shadow is never the whole story. The light behind it is everything.

We built Wajang for writers who understand that craft is the foundation of great storytelling. Whether you're a film student writing your first short, a professional screenwriter developing a television series, a playwright crafting dialogue for the stage, or a radio dramatist building entire worlds through sound alone, and Wajang gives you the tools to write well and produce confidently.

From the screenplay editor to production scheduling, cast management, budget tracking and legally-verified digital document signing. Everything a writer and producer needs is in one place, built to British industry standard.

"Wayang means shadow but also imagination. The puppet is never the story. The shadow it casts is."
